The evidence is clear Trump (and others in his circle) broke the following two criminal statutes.

18 USC Sec. 1512
(c)Whoever corruptly—
(1)alters, destroys, mutilates, or conceals a record, document, or other object, or attempts to do so, with the intent to impair the object’s integrity or availability for use in an official proceeding; or
(2)otherwise obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so,
mshall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

18 USC Sec. 371
If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons
do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such
misdemeanor.

The question becomes... Should he be prosecuted?

Then either bring charges or shut the fuck up.

Biden and Garland's failure to prosecute Trump would be catastrophic. We may never be a democracy again.

I am getting the feeling they are going to file charges, likely after November and after they get Cippolini's testimony in the can.

Notable that no Trumppers are disputing that he is guilty of these two crimes.

I sincerely hope that you're right, enough is enough.

It appears you are much of a lawyer.

I know. The point is we have been hearing about all his crimes and not a single indictment.

They've been saying Trump is going to prison any day now since BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED!
They've tried TWO impeachments and couldn't name a single crime then either!

Democrats are running absolutely scared that Trump will be elected again!

This is absolutely spot on. They are scared to death of him
