All the Arab states has signed on with the Allies by 1939.. The Mufti didn't meet Hitler until 1941.. and in 1940 Mussolini bomb Bahrain and Eastern KSA.
Hebron was an Arab town until 1492 when Jews were expelled from Spain.. Some settled in Hebron without incident. The difference was that they were not Zionists.

The population of Palestine had doubled in 15 years with the influx of 600,000 European Jews prior to the war. The Mufti wanted to stop that.. The Israelis have changed the narrative to paint themselves as victims..

Nor did he say anything about the fate of the millions of Jews—most of them Polish and Soviet nationals—who had already come under Hitler’s control. What he wanted, and did not get, was the authorization to proceed immediately to a revolt against the colonial powers in the Middle East and a war against the British and the Jews in Palestine.

He escaped from French detention in 1946, however, and continued his fight against the Jews from Cairo and later Beirut. He died in 1974.
