No. Who is saying we are? Are you accusing Israel of genocide and committing war crimes? Are you denying Hamas has committed multiple war crimes and continues to do so today?

The short answer is that they are afraid of them. Most Arab nations are still "emerging world" and the Arab Spring wasn't that long ago. Most Arab nations don't want a repeat. Introducing tens of thousands of radical, Israeli-hating fanatics would just be adding fuel to the smoldering fire of poor, subjugated people living under authoritarian rule.

Hamas fancies itself the legitimate ruling authority of Gaza and it's fighters are it's armed wing. Ukrainian soldiers didn't hide behind civilians, even though they were universally considered to be completely outgunned by the Russians in February 2022. Hamas is welcome to emulate the Ukraine fighters, and come out from behind civilian shields to fight IDF toe to toe.

Giving temporary shelter to the elderly and women with children should be a humanitarian issue. They aren’t likely to start a revolt.

True, but in the wild, wooly world outside of the US, most people don't want to be separated from their families because they know they'll probably never see them again.

This isn't like evacuating the elderly and minors out of New Orleans to Arkansas after Katrina.

The Zionists killed more kids in a few weeks in Gaza then the Russians have killed in Ukraine in almost two years....that is something to notice.

Using human shields is a terrorist act. The Ukrainian soldiers of 2022 and the Polish soldiers of 1939 did what the armed forces of a legitimate ruling authority are supposed to do, even when they are expected to lose. Go out and face the enemy toe to toe, and try to keep the enemy away from your civilians.

I think a lot of people would go, most men want their families safe. It would also lessen overcrowding, which causes a lot of problems.
