Book Purist is better known as Watermark and he makes posts like this; because he likes to think of himself as a contrarian, unfortunately he doesn't see the irony between his comments and his life.
He's living in Louisiana, in a house "provided" by his Father, and it's very likely that he also gets an "allowance".
He's very well educated and is somewhat intelligent; but remains unemployed for several reasons.
One is because his sense of entitlement has him believing that he "deserves" to be in a highly paid position, from the get go.
Two is because he is convinced that he's smarter then even the people that he's interviewed with.
Third is because, due to some comments he's made, he has some serious emotional issues and probably has been self medicating for a very long time.
It's also highly probably that the only reason his Father tolerates his behavior, is because of feelings of guilt that started when his mom and him separated and Watermark was raised by his mother and boyfriend (who Watermark has said he hates).
He's created many "socks", like one named Ivan, all in an attempt to supposedly stimulate conversations regarding communism; all without him considering that if he lived under communism; he would be forced to work at whatever, regardless of his education.
It's also a good probability that if it wasn't for his Father, he would be a drug addict and homeless; which will more then likely occur, if he doesn't become employed before his Father dies.
But I digress; because when he posts his "contrary" comments, it's best to treat him like a red headed step child and just ignore his attention seeking behavior.
Did I mention that he's also a ginger?
There are times when he actually is coherent and makes sense; but it's hard to notice when that is, due to his constant habit of just making up shit.
