The Israeli government has renewed the supply of water to its enemy, Gaza, under pressure from the international community.

The move was allegedly intended to “encourage the passage of residents of northern Gaza to the south.”


Thus far, water supplies are not being renewed in northern Gaza, where residents were warned to evacuate in advance of an impending invasion by Israeli forces, whose goal is to obliterate the Hamas terrorist organization.

As the situation in Gaza unfolds, it's becoming clear what Israel is trying to do, with US support: terrorize the population into fleeing south, creating impossible pressure on the Egyptian border until they're forced permanently into the Sinai. Looks like a good plan to me.

I also heard a report that a humanitarian supply truck was taken by Hamas instead of being able to supply the poor residents. This reminds me of Somalia where the warlords took any food and supplies intended for the starving citizens.

That's the plan but when Hamas uses innocent civilians as meat shields, it's a problem.

This is why better intelligence and drones can help; identify the Hamas leaders and put a smart kinetic weapon on them. Still, there's a risk for collateral damage depending how close the Hamas cowards place women and children, including hostages, to themselves.

If Gaza Palestinians really don't support Hamas, they should be helping the IDF identify who are the leaders and where the leaders, terrorists, weapons and hostages are located.
