96 % of Republicans voted FOR McCarthy and 100% of Democrats voted against him. If anybody shut the Legislative branch down it was the Democrats , dumbass.

No. Did someone hold a gun to the Democrats heads to vote against McCarthy? He could not have been voted out without their help. Gaetz 's motion would have failed without the Democrats. Gaetz may have loaded the gun but the Democrats aimed it and squeezed the trigger.

No you are playing games. But their games may backfire on them Jordan may very well become the new Speaker. I'm very OK with that. :laugh: Meanwhile we have a Republican interim speaker and things are still moving along.
