Sorry, I meant coalition governments. That would be where one party votes for another party's leadership. We have never done that in the USA. With the Republicans coming apart, maybe it is time to consider it.
There was more cooperation in the past. Specifically, before "compromise" became a bad word in the Republican Party....about the same time RINO became so popular.
FWIW, if Jim Jordan becomes Speaker, I predict he'll be among the worst Speaker of the House in US history.
