Islam = religion of hate.

No, I usually let it slide. But when someone makes fun of my education (based on a false assumption, I must say) and uses poor grammar within the same sentence, that's a different story.

From your first link, a direct rebuttal against your earlier assertion:

Although their chief goal was to perform the sacraments and introduce the Indians to the fundamentals of Christian doctrine, in many respects the missionary friars laid the groundwork for the fusion of the Spanish and Mexican cultures. They won the trust of the native population by protecting them from the excesses to which many of the Spanish civilians were inclined. They also took responsibility for the basic education of the Indians, an effort greatly enhanced by their assiduous study of Indian languages. They established schools where youngsters learned to read and write and were introduced to european music and the arts. Adults were trained to practice agriculture and trades, learning European methods in masonry, carpentry, iron work, weaving, dying, and ceramics.

We are in the 21st century. Christian countries have adapted; most Muslim countries have not. Are you planning to answer my question as to which type of country you'd prefer to live in?

Hmm, that's nice. But before you parrot your butt-buddy Topspin regarding education, I recommend learning the difference between their, there, and they're.

I can live in either. Have you been to Dubai lately? My wife lived their for two years. I'd rather live their then Pigs Knuckle Washington. How about Kuala Lampur? Ever been there? Great city. The people are incredbile. How about Jakarta? I'd have no problem living in Singapore either.

Have you ever been out of your hometown for more then two weeks in your life? You really come off as a provincial.

I mean you're question is a fucking stupid one. Would you rather live in South Chicago? East St. Louis? Newark? Harlem? I'd rather live in all the Muslim Cities I listed then those hell holes.

Mott, would you choose to live in any of the following countries?

Iran
Iraq
Afghanistan
Pakistan
Uzbekistan
Saudi Arabia
Tunisia
Jordan
Syria
Yemen
Egypt
Nigeria
Sudan
Somalia

... the list goes on. The bottom line: most Islamic countries are terrible places to live, with very little personal freedom. There are only a few exceptions to that, such as Dubai, which have realized the benefit of western-style capitalism (for the time being, anyway).

Read further compadre. Do some research. The Franciscans and Dominicans did admirable work in the new world in protecting the natives, converting them and teaching them Spanish culture but they were utterly dominated by the Jesuits who were not even as remotely benign and the Jesuits had the sanction of Carlos the V and the Pope to implement the encomedero system which anihilated millions of natives and made the Churhc spectacularly wealth in Mexico.

Which part of the text refutes the part that I quoted?
