He's conflating. What Trump tweeted, and the topic of the OP, is about allowing or not allowing those on the watch or no fly list to buy guns. That is what is on the table right now, today. And it's being reported that Toomey is involved, which means there might be some movement.

is there a better way to put the question I asked? i'm all eyes. there's a reason for the 2nd Amendment and it's as valid today as it was back when it was ratified. maybe even more so. and there will be blowback. the dems lost power after the first one. they can be just as surprised when they lose it again by passing a second one.

Also I'm not going to re-litigate the 90's, but your story here is extremely debatable since the ban was passed in 94, Clinton was reelected in 96, and the dems made historic gains in the 98 midterms. I mean there was a lot of shit going on during the 90's you might recall. Let it marinate a while.

Did I specify Syria? I would ban ALL immigration from any country for the next five years. Do you really think we don't have enough people here?
