Hundreds of thousands of people would still be alive had Biden been willing to say this three years ago. Instead, Biden refused, fueled a proxy war, presided over Ukraine's decimation, and then turned around and said that Ukraine isn't ready to join NATO anyway. It was all a bait and switch with one goal only: use Ukraine to bleed Russia. Whoever went along with this epic disaster -- and that sadly includes progressive lawmakers and media -- should ask themselves if it was worth it.

Zelenskyy agreed with the Polish Prime Minister that negotiations can not be started without Europe, Ukraine and US at the table.

Wait couple of weeks, months tops … and see how Trump slaps him back in line.

What's she going to do if she doesn't like the deal? Deploy the Estonian platoon to Chasov Yar? Maybe convene an EU working group to draft some regulatory legislation? Laughable. Europe had its chance to make peace and get ahead of the incoming Trump Administration. Viktor Orban went on a fact finding mission to Moscow and Kiev, but instead of listening to what he had found, the EU started a vicious PR campaign against him and tried to sabotage Hungary's EU Council presidency -- and Kallas led the way on that. So when I now hear her mewling about it being unfair that the EU is being left out of negotiations, I have zero sympathy.

Russia invaded Finland and Poland at the beginning of WWII, unprovoked. Russia attacked countries throughout Central Asia, unprovoked. They built a huge empire, by attacking weaker countries, unprovoked.

China has never fully accepted their loses to Russia. They may chose to take back Siberia at the worst moment for Russia.

NATO should have disappeared in 1991 when its rationale for existence, the USSR did. The fact it didn't proves it was never a "Defensive Alliance" It's a political club and weapons sales scam. It will never fight Russia or China. That's for the fools in Ukraine and Georgia

In order to keep NATO alive an enemy had to be created out of whole cloth.....Russia was picked. This was driven by the Americans, which now faces the catastrophic consequences all around the world to include in Europe as we are humiliated by the Russians and as it can no longer be denied that America is low brain wattage bully and a horrible friend.
 
Trump said the deal is Russia could keep all the territory they stole. How could Putin argue with that? And Ukraine has to promise to not join NATO. Zlensky would jump at a deal like that. Trump is such a fine negotiator.
