Not the Trump campaign, not the Trump administration. Those were of interest only insofar as they were vehicles for Trump himself. Despite the lies from Trump and his fan club, the main purpose of the Mueller investigation wasn't Trump colluding with the fucking Russians, it was to investigate Russian interference with the 2016 election. Such activities have gone on ever since the WWW began, but each year it worsens. Not just from Russia either, but from all of our enemies (and some allies) like China and North Korea. However, in 2016 it was clearly a Putin-directed effort to alter the election.

While there is zero evidence a single vote was changed by fake ads and false information on Facebook, clearly the hacking of the DNC accounts revealing the corruption of Hillary and top Democrats had an impact...if for no other reason that Democrats stayed home on Election Day.

It's a modern world and our nation needs to better address cyber-war and cyber-espionage issues. The Mueller investigation (and the DNI report) helped explore the problems involved and what we need to do to counter those attacking the United States via the Internet. This is the main reason a lot of Mueller's report was redacted; we don't want to tip off our enemies what we know and what we plan to do about it.

While that was the CLAIM of the investigation, Mueller being a partisan hack for the Party of the Jackass made it all about Trump and his campaign. It was a despicable waste of time and the PHONY media used it to promote a lame asinine narrative that Trump was in the pocket of Vladimir.
