Hell Rana, I say let the south go down this path. They'll dumb down their curriculum to the point that southern states will lead the nation in employment cause you'll only be able to get a minimum wage job if you attend one of their schools.

That means us folks up north who have real academic standards in our public schools and superior work ethic won't have to worry about competing with the morons they produce for higher paying jobs.

I've lived in Arkansas and South Carolina. No way in hell would I send a child of mine to a public school there. I kid you not, a high school diploma in Arkansas is about equal to or less than a 6th grade education in the great lakes region (excepting Indiana).
