I could stand behind Sarah Palin, as well. For a while.

I'd go as far as to say there may even be a moment of worship. :D

Serra sez: "worship me, lefty boy!"

For example, people making disparaging remarks about Ms. Palin's foreign affairs knowledge when she said she could see Russia.

you know, that's really quite sad....you've just demonstrated the fact that you couldn't tell Tina Fey from the real candidate....since it was Tina that said that, not Palin......that tells us a lot about the ability of liberals to vote intelligently.....care to embarrass the left even more?.....at least when we laughed about Obama's 57 states it was based on something HE actually said....

Here you go. This gives a much better impression of the intellectual giant.

It's the gift that keeps on giving.

well, let me go dig up were the Hugo said we had 57 states..

ya would think you all could come up with something better..

And you've just demonstrated the Right's inability to understand anything not said in a "quotable quote" fashion.

Excerpt: Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin defended her remark that the close proximity of Russia to her home state of Alaska gives her foreign policy experience, explaining in a CBS interview yesterday that "we have trade missions back and forth.".........

Palin's foreign policy experience came up when she gave her first major interview, on Sept. 11 to ABC News. Asked what insight she had gained from living so close to Russia, she said: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska."

Sarah Palin defended her remark that the close proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience followed up by "you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska."

We all know the Right suffers from comprehension problems. Tina Fey simply stated it in a fashion the Right can understand.

There's a difference between making a mistake such as Obama did as opposed to Palin defending her remarks. Do you not see a difference?

yes....the left is forming a biased opinion that is positive on one hand and a biased opinion that is negative on the other......the difference is quite clear...

Serra Paylin has "hands-on" experience in foreign affairs with Russians:

for all you dummies who don't know a damn thing about Alaska..

The Bering Straight separates Russia and Alaska. Width at the narrowest point is 58 miles (85 km). Check out this link for a quick view:

So, you're saying Palin lied?

Because I live on the ocean, and it's physically impossible to see 58 miles out because of the curvature of the earth (although, I do concede that Palin is probably an evolution-denying flat earther).

Was there some Russian Island that was perhaps closer, that she could see, which made her an international affairs expert?

There's nothing biased about it. If Obama was interviewed after his 57 state comment and attempted to defend it then things would be equal.

I found it rather humorous when someone compared Palin's comment to an individual claiming to be an astronaut because they could see the moon.
