They had ice cream vendors like that in the Philippines when I was there (I'm assuming they still do). Oddly enough they served the ice cream on garden variety type hamburger buns and the favorite ice cream flavors where cheese and breadfruit (which is purple). Interesting cultural differences. LOL

What I find annoying is turning on the TV and finding an aged hack with a lisp entreating me to watch the News 'Show'! I imagine the news being presented by a stand-up comic backed by a troupe of dancing girls.
Then I have to remind myself that this is America and bush has left the building.
Oh, and the fact that you have no 'people' in America. 'Two Americans were killed this morning', or 'Americans are crowding the malls before Christmas.' Why not simply people. Are non Americans not allowed to be shot or go shopping?
I wont even mention the smarmy use of 'folks'!
