I believe that their policy will be more conducive to lower gas prices. BTW - Bachmann isn't in the running any longer, just a news flash there for you. While I don't believe that they go far enough towards working towards independence, they would certainly be better than the current ideologue in that regard. I also believe that they would be far more tractable to a movement among the population towards true energy independence than any ideologue whether it be Bush or Obama.
