Well, I don't know what planet you live on but it isn't the Earth...

Hamas is the government of Gaza. Hamas invaded and attacked Israel on Oct 7. That makes Gazans complicit by way of being subjects of the Hamas government.

As a US citizen, pretty much. That's how nations work. The Taliban in Afghanistan were harboring Al Qaeda and giving them a safe place to operate from on 9/11. The US stomped the government of Afghanistan, the Taliban, to get at Al Qaeda. Actions have consequences.

If Biden got the US into a hot war with some other nation, let's say Russia or China, do you really think that Russia or China wouldn't attack the continental US if they could? They might not target Washington DC right off, and in any case the whole of the US population would be at risk of being attacked in such a war. Why should it suddenly be any different for the Palestinians in Gaza when their government started a war?

Civilians are innocents.

I never support the idea of targeting civilians in a war, and I never will. Israel could come pretty close to wiping out Hamas by just wiping out Gaza entirely - but the world would never support that, nor should the world support that. There are rules in war. You can post your thing about Sherman, but this isn't the 1800's.

LOL. They voted for them, even though they promised genocide from the "river to the sea". This is a bit like pretending that Manifest Destiny didn't cause wars with Native Tribes and that others are just "conflating things" if they think the United States started wars with Native Americans after you voted for Polk.

You're wrong here.

The election was ages ago. I believe a little over half the adult population voted them in - THEN. Over 40% of Gazans today are children, and obviously an even greater # never voted, because they were children THEN.

If you said "some voted for them," you'd be right. As it is, you're wrong. No way around that.

I'll bet they had no more say-so in what Hamas did than many of us did over bush's illegal war in Iraq.
