Yeah, it's pretty much the opposite for me, but I know exactly what you mean.

I do like to talk strategy now and then without regard to party, but generally I know that I promote a libertarian/republican ideation. There's no way to hide that, nor any reason to.

Yurt - the thread's about the economy; you think Obama's economic policies are bad (not healthcare - his econ policies). You want those bad policies to fail.

I get it. But, as I explained, there isn't a way for what you consider his "bad" policies to fail, or at least they be judged a failure, if the economy doesn't fail too. So, that's a bit of a conundrum for you.

Now, stop hounding me for links & answers & post #'s - it's predictable, and a distraction from the real issues regarding what you said (which is why you do it; you're a lightweight).

I like that he hasn't gone after NAFTA or CAFTA, and that he doesn't look like he is moving toward Crap & Trade, either. All 3 are positives.

And any tax cuts he gives out, even if not accross the board (250k +) are good things in principle. Of course, if those Bush tax cuts don't get renewed, then he will be raising everyone's taxes short of a bill to prevent that...
 
I have almost always voted for the Democrat except a few rare exceptions, had Charlie Christ run for reelection as Florida Gov. for example Id have very likely voted for him.

I vote Democratic because of this...

A very powerfull and effective Republicans is going to be good at taking the country in what I belive on most points to be the WRONG DIRECTION.

A weak and ineffective Democrat is going to nudge the country slowly in what I belive to be on most points the RIGHT DIRECTION...!

So even if the R is powerfull and the D is not, Id rather go slowly in the right direction than fast in the wrong direction!
