Is requiring an electric bill to vote disenfranchising the poor?

A person CAN ALREADY use their electric bill as proof of residence

There are already SEVERAL forms of ID acceptable for identification purposes if one wishes to vote...you just think the poor and minorities/anyone who might vote Democrat, should have to procure a NEW IMPROVED ID.

What proof does an electric bill have, that the person holding the bill is the actual person who's trying to use it?

You are such an asshole. It's not about "an electric bill". It's about some form of ID, even if it doesn't match the official one in some law. In Texas, I think it was, gun permits were valid, stuident ids weren't

If you don't see the disenfranchisement in that, you're even stupider than I thought you were.
