Nancy Pelosi was a very successful leader. You may not like her positions, but she got the job done. Boehner can not ever make the same claim. He has been very ineffective! He is the worst leader of the House that I have seen in my voting life!

HE did not say that women can give it out but not take any in return. He is pointing out that specifically attacking a woman's physicality is boorish and in poor taste. he is not giving back what he got. She made a playful joke when asked how she paid for college. It's obvious what the question referred to. IF he really felt offended he could have given his (fake) boo-hoo story about being born in a barn and not having shoes and having to go to the poor folk's one-room college.
He didn't do that. HE chose to attack her looks. This was politically stupid. Women are half the electorate. If his looks gave him a boost with any of them, he better hope they look better than Warren does. Many don't. That's going to be a direct cut. Politically this is just indefensible on his part, showed poor political judgement, and will cost him some votes.
Generally speaking, when a woman makes a joke at your expense you don't come back with "you're so fat/old/gross it'd be a horror show to see you naked". If you do, you're a prick. Period. If she makes a joke that is really offensive, and hers wasn't, but of course that's a matter of opinion and some people are easily offended...then she's fair game to hit back upon, but you'd do very well to avoid culturally loaded misogynistic language. He failed.

Also, is Warren really a physically unattractive 62 year old? I think not. Brown took his clothes off when he was what? 20? I bet she looked pretty damn good naked at 20 too. And I don't think she looks so bad now. It's a prime example of how women are judged so harshly in our culture.
