Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny yesterday released an audio confession from one of the men behind his failed poisoning, after he phoned the man and posed as a Russian intelligence official.
Navalny fell ill on a plane from Siberia to Moscow last August. He was eventually transferred to a hospital in Germany. Several European laboratories have since confirmed that he was poisoned with the nerve agent Novichok. The Kremlin denies it.
Novichok is the same nerve agent the Kremlin denies using on defector Sergei Skripal and his daughter in England two years ago. It doesn’t seem to work too well. The only person they succeeded in killing was a local woman who thought it was perfume.
Maybe they could pass some to Donald Trump to give as a Christmas present to Joe Biden. If Trump said he thought it was aftershave, millions of his dupes would believe him. Anyway he has presidential immunity.
