Is "Make America Great Again" a racist slogan?

Just watching the Bryan Cranston interview w/ Chris Wallace. He makes a good point: if you're black, when was America "great?"

If you watch Obama's inaugural speech, and see African Americans crying about what a milestone his election represents, you realize how far we've come. If you watch what happened w/ Kyle Rittenhouse, and imagine how it would have been if he was black, you also realize how far we have to go.

Interested in other thoughts on this topic. I have always felt there were some racial undertones to "MAGA," and I'm actually 100% that for some supporters, that was what it was about.

If they're talking about 50-60 years ago when segregation and Jim Crow laws were prevalent.

The ten commandments were given to the Jews

you goyim made up a fucked up versions that had nothing to do with you in the first place :palm:

Apparently you have ways of getting around dummyproofing. :whoa:

That site's way of counting the commandments contradicts the bible.

"7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. -1

11 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 2

12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee.

13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:

14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the Lord thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the Lord thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.-3

16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. -4

17 Thou shalt not kill.-5

18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.-6

19 Neither shalt thou steal.-7

20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.-8

21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.-9, -10

Which comes first, Matt?: Exodus or Deuteronomy? https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus 20&version=KJV

It's good that you are reading the Bible, Matt. Better if you actually learn from it and live by it.

I have a few questions about the slogan itself. To me personally, the problem with the slogan is the use of the word again.
I would not have a problem with any Political Party using the slogan- MAKING America BETTER!

The slogan MAGA is pretentious and implies that America is no longer great!

Who decides when America was great?

Who gets to decide when we feel that America is great again?

Is there a general consensus among the party that uses the slogan as to when that was?

What made America so great then vs. now?

Slogans are just words!

So to me, party slogans are just words!

Political parties do not need words- as political parties are judged by their actions and in-actions, and not their words.

More and better opportunities. More disposable cash for everyone.

What is being "Built Back Better"? The entrenchment of unelected government leeches?

They're both the same, moron.
If that was true then you'd have counted out the Exodus one like you did the Deuteronomy one....but since you have chosen the Dark Path, you chose to sling false accusations instead. Sad, Matt, but I forgive you.

They don't say anything different, idiot.

Okay, you have now filled my put-up-with-retardation meter. Fuck off for now!

TS it has been adapted as a racist dog whistle which makes it racist, yes.

Just like the Nazi emblem was not offensive until the Nazi adopted it and now IT IS a symbol of naziism and fascism.

Make America Great is now used by those on the right primarily to mean, when POC and Women had little to no choice and options and white men were in a dominant position with almost no competition.

it was better prior to sending all the jobs to china. that started in earnest in the 90's.

rolling back globalization stupidity to a prior point of more sensefulness should be the goal.

'again' is the correct word.

It started with Bush I and continued until Obama. That was a long run of bad presidents.

It depends on how you take it... but its a legit question, "When was America ever better for minorities than just before Trump started his campaign?

the whole "favored nation" thing was supposed to make them embrace freedom.

instead they took the money, stayed shitty, and have influenced western fascist politicrats to become shittier.

After he was in office for 2 years.

You can't lift up Americans up by race alone, we got just 'bout every kind of race there is here. You have to lift all Americans up equally.

MAGA doesn't see colors. It isn't about minorities. it isn't about race at all. But you're to ignorant to see that.

It is clear to me it is about breeding resentment against minorities to stir up hate that motivates people to get to the polls.

I noticed you cant give a direct answer to my question.

If that's your interpretation, you are a racist. An ignorant racist...

Arby sees himself as a victim of racism :palm:

In fact he is a bitter aggrieved white man who sees minorities as threats
