Now the guy has a huge "law" practice making millions on the representation of thousands of traffic tickets weekly. That's all he does, advertise for traffic ticket clients and hire two bit attorneys to handle them.

Nobody's asking anybody to change their political beliefs. There are racists in every party and every segment of society but SmilinJack is one of the egregious versions and he's more representative of conservatives. He doesn't just hate blacks, he references phony discredited "studies" that blacks are genetically inferior.

I mean he is literally supposed to respond to arguments brought before the supreme court. That's what all justices should do.

This is not the supreme court of feels. It's not the supreme court of feel good questions or the supreme court of social justice progress.

It's the supreme court of MOTHERFUCKING REALITY and sometimes that involves asking questions that might make liberals absolutely lose their shit.

His job is to ask questions to get to the bottom of things. This was one argument brought before the court, and if he brings these questions up he can see how well the solicitor general responds. Maybe he raises the question, and gets a good answer that satisfies him. Part of it is just the socratic method, he askes questions to get to the truth, it doesn't even mean he believes what he's asking.

It's a perfectly legit question to ask if affirmative action might end up having NEGATIVE consequences, as some research seems to suggest (i.e. higher drop out rates).
