A wonderful state with ZERO Republicans - The State of Illinois. Some interesting data on the 'state' of Illinois...



There are more people on welfare in Illinois -- than there are people working.

Chicago pays the highest wages to teachers than anywhere else in the U.S. averaging $110,000/year.

Their pensions average 80-90% of their income. Wow, are Illinois and Chicago great or what?


Body count: In the last six months, 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago. and only 221 killed in Iraq -- AND -- Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire US.

· Of course, they're all blaming each other.

· And Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned a couple of months ago, because he is fighting to not be sent to...that's right, prison.

Nothing we can accept as true. Why do you bother repeating this garbage? You know it's a lie and not very original.

The comparison between deaths in Chicago and in Iraq is an old one you know is not a valid comparison. Republicans used it during Bush's term as a way to minimize the war casualties. But they are only comparing casualties of coalition troops, which would be more analogous to the number of law enforcement officers killed in Chicago. Murders are still down in Chicago from the years of Ryan, the last Republican Governor, who was recently released from prison.

The claim that there are more on welfare than working is not true.

I doubt there is any truth to the teacher and pension numbers. The only reference I can find is to right wing nutter sites repeating the email.

So when was this study done and were all the numbers pulled from the same year? Here is what makes it look fake..................;
