- First, regarding your marginalization of the polls: IF Trump's #'s ever go up, which is unlikely, you will probably start a thread about it. Because that's exactly what you did for the one brief time his polls #'s did spike, after the GOP convention.

- The economy IS going. It's the longest stretch of uninterrupted growth in ages, and there have been 11 million new jobs under Obama. The stock market has nearly tripled. IF Trump even achieves half of those #'s, not only will he be trumpeting it from the rooftops, but you'll be on here posting that he "saved" the economy.

It's funny; whenever righties talk about how "bad" Obama's economy was, the main stat that comes up is food stamps. Not jobs, not the unemployment rate, not the stock market, not productivity, not confidence. Food stamps.

And why did so many people need to get on that program? Gee - couldn't be because the economy was losing close to a million jobs a month when Obama took over, could it? Talk about setting a low bar.

Bush opposed and fought against Gay Marriage, Obama helped make it legal. Bush started Domestic Surveillance, Obama seriously limited it. Bush refused to do anything about the huge number of Uninsured Americans, Obama passed legislation that turned those numbers around.
