Is it me or are his meltdowns....

The polls are right. All Trump was for MANY people was "not Hillary." I wonder why genius Grind doesn't point that out to you.

Now that Hillary is gone, Trump is just Trump for a lot of people. And it ain't pretty.

The facts as they "currently stand" are that a majority of Americans aren't happy about a President Trump. Sorry. And I'm not embarrassed, because I didn't vote for the loon.

You? You did. You're a complete imbecile, and it won't be long before you're distancing yourself from that action.
you need to look at the context. You are absolutely correct that for many it was "it's not Hillary" vote (myself included)
But on the other hand many Hillary votes were "it's not Trump" votes.

Suffice to say I've never seen 2 major candidates slug it out who had such high negative ratings.

But from there if you look at the polls - while Trump is down -his ISSUES are not! ( again why I support him).

But his Tweets, and being unable to send out a daily pres sec,or influence events -
and to be sure Obama is doing everything he can to tie his incoming hands -all work against his personal approvals.

If this was 100 days into the presidency, there would be a feeling that Trump is slipping -but it's not.
As much as we all aer poll driven lunatics -polls really are essentially meaingless for now

And there is no way that if Hillary had won and had similar #'s, you'd see me on here asserting that the polls were wrong and that she was secretly super-popular. Nor would I be claiming that her actions that drove further erosion in the polls were somehow a "genius strategy."

I knew she was hated. Trumpsters should know the same about their guy.

But they don't, for the most part. It's a pretty delusional crew.

Trump's meltdowns make great campaign ads .. and he's thin-skinned and easily manipulated.

Look how easily he took the John Lewis bait.

The opposition against him is unprecedented even before he takes office.

Gonna' be fum watching him melt into yesterday's news.

A Putin asset

Well Clinton is a professional politician.
Her style is smoothing off the edges ( saying as little as possible -but smoothness as do all politicians)

Trump is from the rough/tough world of business -where clarity and force to get your way is valued over style.
IOW's Trump completely upends what we traditional value in politicians.

Look at Obama -he's been dumping out Gitmo with some really nasty "high value" detainees -and not a word from the press.
Democrats also just get better press, while the MS press ( WaPo & NYT)'s mission has always been to destroy Trump.

All that and more adds to public perception - hell I wish he would STFU with his tweets-
but he does have a point he needs to get around MS coverage.

Trump's problem is he can't pick and choose his public battles; but that's him,and that's gotten him this far.
He needs to learn to use the Office and surrogate. So all this works against his perceptions.

He got some new jobs pledges (Behr) again and got Boeing to reduce the costs on the new POTUS airfleet
Did you hear about that? no -because the MS press is in the destroy mode.

So that's about where he is..but he still doesn't have reportable progess to point to -that only comes after Office.
o get a true picture we are simply going to have to wait to see what he does as POTUS

Is that another of your predictions lol?

Boom.

I mean, how can anyone question that many who voted for Trump don't like him? This is the 1st election in ages where I have seen even the hacks on this board qualify their enthusiasm for him w/ things like "well, he wouldn't have been my first choice" or "it's more about the movement - the leader of it certainly isn't perfect."

Trump is our least popular incoming President in over 40 years. That ain't no prediction. That's a fact.

Fake News

Next week the polls start to have meaning. Check in around the end of March to get a real view of the beginning of his presidency.

The last part should be particularly obvious: Any evaluation of Trump's performance is a tad premature since he has yet to even take office. But it's all the anti-Trump hacks have to hang their hats on at this point.

If [see that, Thing] Trump gets the economy going his poll numbers will come up.

No one is "evaluating Trump's performance."

We're pointing out that he is the least popular incoming President in over 40 years.

Why the goalpost move?

Cutting 20% of federal workers will not get the economy going, all this to cut the 1% taxes is not going to go over very well.

That's 600,000 workers!

forget them . History is made by those in power. Trump is going to write his own story -successful or a failure.

I have my concerns, but I also think he's in step with what Americans ( writ large) care about.
So we'll see how he executes.

^ lol
Likely part of the derangement is because Hillary was not only beat by a man---but by THAT man lol!
Many Dems still don't get that idea.. "How could she lose to Trump!"
and they scurry around looking under rocks for Russians while ignoring how shitty a candidate she was
