Is it a Democracy?

Democracy, republic, whatever. It becomes a judicial dictatorship when judges are who makes all the rules.
Are you advocating shooting judges you don't like, Terry? Do you want Kash to hunt them down and toss them into an American Gulag?

This isn't something new. It's been going on for decades and decades. It was a problem then, it's a problem now.
...and you only realized this a couple of years ago?

Decades and decades? WTF? Decades is plural meaning at least two. Decades and decades means a minimum of 40 years. The Reagan Era and before there was such a thing as cable news. Only network news.

Maybe that's why JFK was killed?

Musk is correct.

When a single unelected judge can by judicial fiat, and without so much as a single legal reason behind it, decide what the law of the entire nation will be, either making new law out of thin air or throwing out law because they disagree with it then we live in a judicial dictatorship, not a democracy.
Not what Musk said, you need a reading comprehension class.

  • Republic: Rather than a direct democracy where everyone votes on everything, the U.S. is a representative democracy. Citizens elect officials—such as the President, members of Congress, and state leaders—to make decisions on their behalf.

@Grok

:dunno:
within the confines of the law and the constitution.

The Supreme Court has no authority over the President's authority of the executive branch. They have no say at all. I suggest you read Article III to find out just what the Supreme Court DOES have authority over. They are not God. Don't treat 'em like one.
you're not reading very well.................work on your comprehension and then come back to me.

The U.S. is a representative democracy. How many times does this have to be said for it to sink in

Judges do not make the rules. Federal rules are made by Congress. Courts interpret the language of the rules and enforce them. Fourth grade civics lesson is now concluded for the day.

Plus, as the MAGAts keep refusing to comprehend, a single judge's ruling isn't the stopping point. Cases can be appealed with SCOTUS being the final stop.

They need to also comprehend "democracy", representative and direct. No country in the world is a direct democracy; all have people in
government acting as elected representatives. There still is some direct democracy at local levels, as in certain American small towns where
meetings of property owners vote on a town budget, for example. But that's the extent of it.

Much less some district court punk. Trump should just ignore these little wannabe dictators and go about his business as if he wasn't even aware they exist.

What are they really going to do about it? Send the bailiff to arrest him?

It's time to let the hyenas know who is the lion king.
