Some of these guys need to read up on their history. French, English, German, Spanish etc. royalty betrothed their children when they were toddlers if they wanted to make or strengthen alliances. It wasn't a sexual thing.
Muhammad was married and monogamous to Khadijah for 23 years and didn't get married again until she died, and he was over 50.
Books I've read state that Muhammad and Aisha didn't get betrothed until she was 12 (age of puberty), and the marriage wasn't consummated until she was 16.

The minimum age for marriage under Jewish law is 13 for boys, 12 for girls; however, the kiddushin can take place before that, and often did in medieval times. The Talmud recommends that a man marry at age 18, or somewhere between 16 and 24.
This is from a jewish fact site, so you are probably closer.
It was the times, it was not just Islam. You have to stop and think like Christie claimed that people died young! they married young, they had children young! They betrothed children at birth for alliances. It was a different time and what we find disturbing was natural to them. The Bible even says that incest was okay at one point and then Yahweh put a stop to it, but Lot and his daughters had to try it one last time.
