Is he Cinderella's sister?

I think that there is an expectation to treat visiting dignitaries a bit better than port-a-potties and outdoor potlucks. Do you think you'd be happy with China putting Obama outside and telling him to use the port-a-potty? I think you are lying if you say yes.
I think that visitors are expect to conform to the customs of the country they're visiting, and they understand this. Just remember that no leader, with the possible exception of Kim Jong Un, is as thin-skinned as trump.

These fucking morons who continue to tolerate, indeed encourage, Trump in his obvious quest to be to the US what Putin is to Russia or Xi to China...should be ashamed of themselves. But most are not intelligent enough to see that to be true.

Funny watching a fucking moron call others morons while lying. flailing and looking like an unhinged asshole.

Renovations of the White House are permitted under exceptions to the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) of 1966, which is the federal law that typically governs historic properties. The White House, U.S. Capitol, and Supreme Court are exempted from the NHPA's formal Section 106 review process.

Would you have been for Trump[ tearing down the East Wing before he did it? I know, you will lie about it here, but think about what you would have thought if Biden did it, or Obama. The right raised hell when Obama turned a couple tennis courts into a basketball court. He made it so it was easily reversible because he knew he was not a king and should not impose his choices on the people ot history.

This hizzy fit over a beautiful new ballroom (at no taxpayer expense) by the far left loons certainly helps the AT controllers and military who aren’t receiving their pay, thanks to the Schumer shutdown to continue giving free healthcare to illegals.

Nah, I'm mocking you for crying about a large venue for entertaining dignitaries and waxing nostalgic about the port-a-potties and temporary venues.

I'd be a bit more upset if he were spending tax dollars on it.
Our public architecture has never until now tried to evoke the gaudy excesses of European Royal 👑 palaces.

If Trump would have gone through the traditional public consultation and approval process, we might have had a more functional and less gaudy meeting room, one more consistent with our democratic republic heritage and our traditional public architecture.

Yep, they freaked out about Obama literally having lines pained on the existing tennis court. That's how two-faced they are.

Pretending that the East Wing is some sacrosanct historic building is nonsense.

the East Wing as seen today was constructed in 1942, a project undertaken during President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s administration and frequently linked to wartime and functional needs, including space and security considerations.

the East Wing’s uses to first lady offices and staff functions, and one analysis additionally references efforts to conceal an underground emergency bunker during Roosevelt’s presidency. This juxtaposition frames the 1942 construction as driven by both administrative needs—formal office and public-facing spaces for the first lady—and security or contingency planning amid wartime pressures.
