In a Howard Stern interview, the future presidential candidate likened sleeping with multiple women to service in the war he repeatedly avoided.

Draft-dodger Donald Trump said that the danger he faced from getting sexually transmitted diseases was his own “personal Vietnam.”

Trump talked about how he had been “lucky” not to have contracted diseases when he was sleeping around.

“I’ve been so lucky in terms of that whole world. It is a dangerous world out there. It’s scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam-era,” Trump said.

It wasn’t the only time the Republican frontrunner for president would liken his personal life to wartime service.

Trump has claimed that his military-themed boarding school education was essentially equivalent to having being trained in the military.

He is not a hero or even someone to be admired in my opinion. March 1st will be the day that we really learn our fate as conservatives.

I am in Saigon at the moment staying at the Victory hotel. It used to be where the CIA housed their families during the Vietnam War, well at least that's what they said on the house TV. I will say one thing though, it is the best value hotel in Saigon. I got it for around 35 dollars on Agoda, can't fault it even the swimming pool is pretty damned good for a central hotel.

The Republican nomination might be wrapped up in a few weeks.

I guess it was the Republicans who are going to have a coronation for the nomination.

People are far too busy making money to give a shit about politics, to be honest. I went to the US embassy to look around yesterday, heavily guarded as you might imagine. Was trying to identify the building from which the last helicopter took off in 1975, hard to see from the outside. Need to find a building that overlooks the compound.
 
Just went to the charmingly named War Remnants Museum, it is like a snap shot in time of 60/70s US military hardware.
