Yes they claim that. But liberals think that their ilk are uniquely aggrieved therefore justified in their violence.

You will often here a liberal on JPP say "I don't condone the violence, BUT I understand the anger that leads to it"

Anytime you add a BUT to a sentence it negates the first part.

It is like saying "I oppose muslime immigrants gang raping European women, BUT I understand their need for some pussy"
