Rumsfeld spoke about threat assessment and discussed the danger of the unknown unknowns. "Things we do not know we don't know" Rummy saw this as a deficiency. Trump, as you stated, has no awareness. It basically places us in "god-mode" and we get to see all the things he doesn't know he doesn't know play out. We can watch the blind man fall in the ditch. The real question is "should we prevent it?" I guess that depends on whether it simply gets him removed from office or drags us down with him.
