Remember when you leftists were programmed to freak out about how low the topline figure of the Q1 GDP report was? Here is a link to the full report. Scroll down to Page 7 of the report ("Table 1") and take a close look at Line 19 of Table 1. That line is entitled "Imports". Did you see how HIGH that import number was for Q1 2025 compared against any particular quarter from the prior few years?
That means that imports went THROUGH THE ROOF during Q1 (Jan - Mar). NOW, for Q2 (Apr - Jun), imports are going to be much lower than they were in Q1 because the desired products ARE. ALREADY. HERE. ... So, of COURSE imports are going to go down in Q2, especially when imports were so astronomically HIGH in Q1 (that's called purchasing/stocking up in advance). There is (and will be) no "shortage of product"; the product IS. ALREADY. HERE.
So you can stop it with that particular stupid lie that the media is about to program you to mindlessly parrot.

The only way that there will be any "shortages" of any sort is if Democrats scheme (via the ILWU) to CREATE "shortages" (iow, force it to become a thing for political purposes) and the Trump Admin doesn't have the foresight to see the scheme coming. If I were the Trump Admin, I would proactively shift any sort of vital imports AWAY from the West Coast (and towards the East or South Coast instead.
