On top of all the homophobic slurs, he also mocks those who work hard in menial jobs. Why is a "spudpeeler" something to be ashamed of?

I know a couple of lesbians that are married, and they hang out at the same Biker/Musician Bar where I normally hang out on Friday nights.

They are friendly and are nice to everyone, even though everyone else is straight.

We, the other patrons of the club, are nice to them- and we do not use Homophobic language around them.

They ride their own Harley's and are widely accepted at the club by all!

I don't know or hang out around any other Gay people!

But, I am not rude to gays by using Homophobic language- No! Never!

The PC Fascists have a large library of words the Central Committee has found offensive and will be stricken from the spoken and written Language.
I am an American ... and have been brought up with the concept of Free Speech. I support the 'Free Speech' concept.

I heard you were born in East Germany, ... did you know a 'Miss Phantasmal' there?

Someone calls someone a gay slur, and then someone returns some insult back

Try to get over it. I was once called a 'Poo Poo Head' by a fellow Poster. After years of Therapy, I was able to move on. I know you can do it to. Try opening up to some of your other gay friends, they have probably experienced similar incidents. Communication helps. Part of the healing process. (Good Luck, TD)

Want to get into a war of insults and spouse baiting like Sailor and a couple of his buddies do? Or start entire threads attacking someone? Then there are no hostages, assholes. You made yourself fair game.

Want to have discussions about real issues? Great. The answer is simple. Quit posting lies, exaggerations and uneducated, uninformed bullshit.

The problem on this forum, however, is that the right (with rare exceptions) is incredibly uninformed, uneducated and willfully ignorant. That, my friends, is not going to change.

(I think TD is trying to signal that he is a bit sensitive to his sexual persuasion and feels that even in a flame war, the homophobe slurs should be off limits. Just an opinion)

Liberals are always quick to judge others while excusing their own behavior. They also claim that there are no moral absolutes while claiming others are immoral. It's called cognitive dissonance.
