Is Black history month racist!?

Let me know when you provide documentation that "white" folk in America were brought over here in the bowels of slave ships....bought and sold like cattle, officially declared as less than human in state and federal law, and then subjected to an additional century of Jim Crow laws. Oh, and let us know how "white" folk's contributions and trials to freedom in this country were marginalized or in some cases ignored in the official history text taught in schools....not to the mention the demeaning stereo-types portrayed in the entertainment industry.

All that would be to provide a type of free labor to the majority non-white population nearly 200 years before this country was officially formed.

If you can do that, then you would be justified in wanting a "white history" month.

Unless they made things happen, fuck you, cupcake!

You're a white pussy piece of shit that's virtue-signaling.
Where'd your parents come from, boy?
I tell you this, a black man that is the son of a sharecropper owns all of my family's former land save 80 acres purposed for something else, and then he got him another 80 or so.
He owns 160 acres at least. Probably 200. His daddy acquired all the land, but he's keeping it! So that's good. :)

That's real America, boy! A black man owns outright 200 acres of prime land on the central ridge in FL. How does that make you feel?

It's his, he earned it. That's a lot more than you own, huh?

Okay, so back in the day my family gave him a piece 80 or so acres for his retirement, then being an entrepeneur, he got more! Double or more..It's the American Dream. ;)
He lived it.
So sad that future generations will never have that. :(

Some early White Americans ( Colonials) are so distant & mixed some just go by bc White or White American.

So, similar logic might apply.
I have met very few Americans who do not identify genetically with at least one European country, or cultural group.
.But for those Americans who are so thoroughly mixed and clueless about their cultural background, we have the July 4th holiday to celebrate being simply American.

See. You cannot disprove my statements. Or accuracy. Just melt down into a hissy fit. The new modern day progressive.

You're not even a good troll. Do you ever wonder how your life got to this point? It's so sad. And there are so many of you.

I actually don't necessarily have an issue with Black history month.

But, it is contrary to what Leftists promote.

It is a sign of Black privilege.

It does neglect a myriad of other groups.

you have no problem with something that you deem "black privilege", then you make an idiotic claim that black history month "neglects" other groups.

Hmmm, so by your "logic", no more St. Patrick's Day celebration, no Steuben parade in NYC, or feast of San Gennaro, etc., etc.

The three groups mentioned all have individual mentions and documentations in American history. "black" history had to fight for the last 45 years just to get public recognition. Hell, if the various indigenous nation people had their say, you'd have a day of celebration for Native Americans practically every week.

BUT THE REAL QUESTION IS HOW DOES BLACK HISTORY MONTH NEGATIVELY EFFECT YOU PERSONALLY? Does it demean you? Take food out of your mouth? Deprive you of housing and a job? Inquiring minds want to know.

Demeaning stereotypes like dumb Polak jokes, Italian mafia, French frogs etc.!??

Nobody else's history month is so publicised as Black history month.

I think Polish Americans are neglected & disrespected, absolutely.

Then why don't you organize your community and do whatever would give you the self esteem you're lacking? Why be jealous of black people when you are just as able to promote yourself as they are?

They are promoted by the Globalist media & the very Globalist media who for decades has promoted negative anti Polish stereotypes.

Sorry toodles, you can't shift the goal post while I'm here.

I addressed precisely why your OP's basis for it's question/assertion is logically, factually and historically wrong UNLESS IT MET SIMILAR CRITERIA THAT BLACK FOLK DID IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA.

I never stated that racism and bigotry were solely the problem of black folk in America. As you aptly point out, white folk hate each other to various degrees....that in no way equates with over 200 years of slavery with an additional century of Jim Crow. And like I previously alluded to, Italians, Polish and French all have their places throughout the American history taught in our schools....it's been that way for a LONG time. "black history" teachings had to fight for the last 40 years of so just to get equivalent recognition. And there were NO "slave" ships with the 3 groups you mentioned dying in the bowels as it sailed to America for them to be sold and bred like subhuman cattle.

And FYI, the only "demeaning" stereotypes for the folk you mention exist(ed), but REAL HISTORY taught in schools did NOT reinforce them like they did for black folk, who's contributions, trials and tribulations were severly limited in American history for quite a while. A matter of fact, a matter of history that revisionist racist just can't stand to deal with.

I learned about Russian Tsars in public school but not the Polish king Jan Sobieski who saved Europe ( Vienna) from Islamic Ottoman Turk invasions.

I learned about Copernicus but they never emphasized his Polishness.

Yes, I do think the USA public schools encourage anti Polish sentiment.

They basically just taught me Poland lost to the Nazis.

That "publicizing" has been around for only 45 years or so....about 17 years younger than I am. St. Patricks Day, Feast of San Gennaro, etc., have been around MUCH, MUCH longer.

So is THAT the only reason why your panties are in a bunch? Hell, I've lived with non-black celebrations being advertised and internalized via the media and such all my life....doesn't bother me none. What's your problem?

Saint Patricks day is one day.

It's not like Black History month.

Black history month promotes Black achievements, intellects & history.

Irish have no such institutional privilege.
