Yes I been to one or two but to be honest I find Mexican food to be mostly unedifying. I went to this restaurant recently with an American guy who recommended it. It wasn't bad but when you are in a city with many thousands of restaurants, with every cuisine on the planet...You forgot Cilantro/Coriander.
Actually have you ever had real Mexican food...Not the Tex-Mex variety that's ubiquitous in the U.S.?
Yes I googled that but can't see it catching on in Thailand.Yes I been to one or two but to be honest I find Mexican food to be mostly unedifying. I wouldn't call this PC but neuvo riche snobbery. Note the air of superiority and condescension? PC is almost always derived from the lack of a sense of humor or perspective. The author isn't PC but a garden variety snob and you'll find far more of these types at your conservative country club and by orders of magnitudes more at a typical chamber of commerce gathering then at any elite liberal enclave. So Wackos attempt to politicize this is lame as hell.
Hmmm, I don't follow. If it's not PC attitude gone too far, then it's race-baiting or maybe victimhood-seeking-rhetoric. I just don't see the snobbery angle. Mind you, I'm lucky enough to have spent some time at country clubs (Dishwasher!) and indeed, it's hard to find a place more full of snobs.
I'd like to hear more about how it's mere snobbery as opposed to the impression of PC madness I got from reading it.
How about PC Snobs? That really an accurate description. As a Country Club member, I resemble, I mean resent that remark! However I agree with you it's more about PC than snobbery.
Yeh another good reason why Trump needs to build a wall.LINK
It's about a mile from the nice Italian Mexican restaurant.

One of my wife's former co-workers, a Cuban, opened a Mexican taco stand, with Mexican employees...probably of questionable legal status, and had excellent carne asada tacos, tacos al pastor and tacos manok, all very good but their braised chicharron tacos were out of this world good.Yeh another good reason why Trump needs to build a wall.

You definitely have to be closer to the source to get it even halfway decent.

There is also a Taco Bell down the road from me but I wouldn't go in there if you paid me!!
