Is Anyone Surprised?

First, what is your proof that it is crap?

this was reason10 posts I was responding to
you're relying on a BIASED left wing source, which is reporting an IRANIAN story.

Where is your proof the story is true? You would never accept this as factual if it was negative about dems.

Do you have proof it isn't? Just because it came from an Iranian, doesn't mean it is false.

Why is the burden of proof shifted to me? It is up to those claiming it is true to prove it as you are reiterating the claim. Prove up.

Shamkhani refused to say which Republicans allegedly asked for a delay in releasing the American hostages, but said Iranian officials "acted upon our independent resolve and moved the process forward."

Again, I have not stated it to be true or crap, and it does fall on those who say it is crap to prove it.

Tasnim has strong links with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. I have serious doubts believing this is true.

Don't forget this was a prisoner swap - unless the Republicans thought the Iranians should be prosecuted.
If it's true, it's meddling in executive affirs.as well as disgusting, but I have a very hard time believing this on face value

First of all, you're relying on a BIASED left wing source, which is reporting an IRANIAN story. Like neither one of them would ever be tempted to fudge just a little on the truth, huh?

And you wonder why liberals are all called fucking idiots.

If you find any flaws in the facts as reported, feel free to refute them.

Otherwise, attacking the messenger isn't going to get you very far.

Anyone here the released hostage's interview on NPR and how Hillary's saber rattling kept him locked up longer?
got a link? what???
I did see a US Navy prisoner ( the one's intercepted off Farsi Island) crying, and Iran released it (tape) for propaganda
as well as making the sailors kneel at gunpoint -so I give little credence to reports out of Iran.

They are gonna twist it for their own propaganda value fer sure.

It was either NPR or KPFA which is that free speech radio station (and makes NPR look conservative). Trying to find the interview on google. I heard it in the car one day and actually pulled over to listen to it.

I think it was one of the three writers/reporters maybe that was locked up? He wasn't attacking Hillary from a partisan perspective but he was commenting that a deal would be close to being made and she would make a comment either as S.O.S. or as a candidate that would set the deal back.
another Hillary failure as Sec of State?? add them up:

1.architect of Libyan war ( not Bengazi)

2.calling for sanctions on Egypt (when Congress did not) after the Morsi coupe' - sanctions did great damage to US/Egyptian relations.

3. hosting the E Muslim Brotherhood at State - even after el-Sisi outlawed it.
Egypt: U.S. State Department Hosting Of MB Delegation – A Slap In The Face Of The War On Terrorism

4.meddling in Syria to create an alternative to Assad by "Friends of Syria" that improved the Islamists, but not necessarily the secularists.

It seems a strange thing though being that most Americans don't trust anything the Iranians say, why would they feel releasing this information would be valuable? It would not change the already partisan on either side.

The Republicans seem not to be concerned, they haven't replied as of yet to either story, and neither have the Democrats.

Really? So if I make a claim and someone says it is not true, they have to prove it is not true? I'll remember you said that.

Only thing I can think of is the Iranian nuke deal still has to pass Congress -so this could be seen as pressure on the Repubs
- but it might also backfire..

Maybe it's a higher up in the Iranian gov't/theocracy just out to slime the Americans...but I agree the motivation is very sketchy:dunno:

That is because the story is only circulating mostly in far left wing blogs. The claim is false. He won't even mention names.
