Well, good on you w/ the military. And not too surprising; you're generally not ideological that way.

We'll always disagree on the last part. I don't want to live in a country like that. I know too many people who just can't afford insurance. They don't deserve to die because they don't have enough money.

Pre existing conditions is a joke and it is NOT INSURANCE if you eliminate pre-existing conditions and say they pay the same as someone who is healthy and young. That is stupid. Do they cost less money? No. It is wealth redistribution. Plain and simple. You can't argue otherwise. You can call it whatever you want, but you can't call it insurance. Or you just don't understand what insurance really is

As far as priorities? The only spending the US Constitution specifically calls out is the military.
