I certainly hope so.

In a speech at a mega-church in the Minneapolis area back in 2006, Michele Bachmann explained her decision to pursue tax law.




It wasn't her choice, exactly.




God had already told her to go to law school; God had also told her to marry a fellow named Marcus Bachmann.




Now Marcus told her "to go and get a post-doctorate degree in tax law."




This was not a particular desire of Michele's ("Tax law? I hate taxes!"), but she was certain God was speaking through her husband.

"It would be hypocritical of me to suggest that I would be perfectly happy to have Christian young women believe that being Vice President of the United States is more important than being a wife and mother," he wrote two months before the 2008 election. And several more patriarchal-minded evangelicals opposed Palin's candidacy outright, suggesting that "her political career violates her calling to be a wife, mother, and keeper at home," and even calling a vote for her ticket "a vote for a curse."

That raises all kinds of possible scenarios. Recall Hillary mentioning that "3 am call"? What about an 11:30 pm call, shortly after going to bed?

It's no wonder Bachmann raves about Sharia law so often. It's professional jealousy. She want to impose the Chris-chun version on America.




I am planning to vote for her in as many GOP/open primaries as I can to make sure she's the Republican candidate in November 2012, and I know many others doing the same.




That should ensure 4 more years for Obama, and the landslide will strip the Teabaggers of any political clout they might have for years to come.

The IRS ruins peoples lives. If she is a good tax lawyer, it's not something I'd hold against her. What exactly is the problem?

She talks different than those slick new yorkers like Mark Weiner-- more like the folks in Iowa -- so I guess it makes her every decision a foul move

Seriously, you disagree with her, but she's not a bad person. Can you cite some examples of her ineptitude on the job that might be relavent?
