IRS abuse investigator is an Obama donor

if you don't like democrats, elect a republican... or at least try!

lol

If this were a Republican, investigating something that likely pertains to other Republicans, I think it would stink to high heaven and also of a coverup. The appearance it can give off alone should have someone in this position step down or changed by authorities. I don't think someone should gloat over stuff like this, as that's what's making our country swirl around the turd bowl. Politics over country will make us all losers.

Jim... if we banned anyone who was politically active from participating in the executive branch, nothing would ever get done. You don't really expect an Obama appointed attorney general to appoint someone who is virulently anti-Obama to investigate anything, do you?

Please tell me... were you scrambling to have a liberal democrat appointed to serve along Ken Starr during the whitewater investigation?

just curious.

And why do you presume that someone who is a democrat is incapable of wanting the truth?

So this is about revenge instead of principles. I thought so. Shame on you. Using govt for your personal grudges. Can't get much more corrupt than that.

not at all... if you think that having both parties represented in this investigation is so bloody important... I just asked if you felt the same way in an earlier investigation. Clearly, you don't have the grace and class necessary to answer a straightforward question. I can't say I am all that surprised, however, by your evasive insulting response.

again: why do you presume that someone who is a democrat is incapable of wanting the truth?

All I have to do is use your own argument and demand you present evidence that Ken Starr abused his position as investigator. Poor thing.

I don't take issue with appointments in various branches - but investigations are an entirely different matter. They should always be impartial and not affiliated in any way with the very people being investigated. What I would expect is for a special investigator without political donor ties to be appointed.

the democratic president of the united states. not as moderate as I am, but certainly a lot more moderate than many other members of my party.

No doubt, you are much more moderate then some of the far left from your party, as well as supporters. But having known you for many years, I don't think you are in fact a moderate though, only in comparison. Kinda like McCain labeling himself a conservative.

you are the one who was demanding two investigators, one from each party.... not me. Were you, or were you NOT demanding two party representation back then? Simple question.... show some grace and just answer it instead of this unseemly tap-dancing.

As for my personal opinion regarding Starr.... I DO think that Starr did abuse his position as investigator and he expanded the scope of his investigation in what seemed to be a never ending witch hunt that found nothing but a cumstained dress after spending millions and millions of the taxpayers money to do so. But he certainly didn't do anything illegal in his investigation.

The American Center for Law and Justice is hardly a right wing organization (ACLJ)...

Oh.

My.

GOD!

Everyone else read that?

Dim Bulb Defective Truth is going to lie right to everyone's faces and pretend that the ACLJ ISN'T just another partisan organization with an EXTREME Conservative bias.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised...TD is just another partisan skid mark who never met a lie he wouldn't pass on if it meant belittling some Liberals.

I watched you tap dance. Can't you extend the same courtesy?

it all depends on perspective, doesn't it? From the perspective of someone on the far far right, EVERYONE in American politics is some sort of a Marxist sympathizer... and for someone on the far far left, everyone else is a conservative brownshirted thug. In truth, most everyone really likes the political philosophical landscape upon which they themselves stand, and, most likely, believes that their position is a sane and moderate and rational one... I know that that is how I view MY OWN political philosophy, that's for sure.

Hey, you're probably right, I wasn't trying to insult. I just found an awful lot of your stances over the years to align with many I consider to be far left. I have seen you align closely with the beliefs of Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Sheila Lee... And these are people I see as far left liberals.

I hope you have this same sentiment in the Chris Christie thread!

I'm a conservative republican, and speaking solely for myself, I hope Christie goes down the shitter, and gets caught in what appears to me of a bit of a coverup. I might be wrong, but I think I sat in a ton of traffic at the GWB coming back home from NJ-NY, but I can't swear to that. Anyway, if there is a direct link found, I would even go as far as to say that I think he should reimburse the states for any costs that may have been involved as a result.
