Obama Eyes $310 Billion Tax Cut
By JONATHAN WEISMAN and NAFTALI BENDAVID

WASHINGTON -- President-elect Barack Obama and congressional Democrats are crafting a plan to offer as much as $310 billion of tax cuts to individuals and businesses, a move aimed at attracting Republican support for an economic-stimulus package and prodding companies to create jobs.

Does it ever piss the liberal Democrat meatheads off to watch their heros get elected and then govern exactly like a good Conservative Republican....
in other words, "govern in an intelligent manner". (like a Conservative)

Cutting taxes, no talk of pulling out of Iraq, no nutty gun control laws, etc....

Yeah it sucks, however this is a sweeten the pot deal to get the Republicans to sign off on the rest of the package.
And imho sweeten the pot deals suck too.

"Does it ever piss the liberal Democrat meatheads off to watch their heros get elected and then govern exactly like a good Conservative Republican...."

I very much doubt Obama will govern exactly like a Conservative Republican. Sounds like he is just trying to make legislation that both sides will support, but overall, it's gonna look a helluva lot more like FDR than Reagan. But you knew that.

How did you feel about your hero Bush governing like a liberal?

Even most of the MSM agree with that now. You must be a one-percenter.

first it was WMD and yellowcake. And heavially implied participation in 911.
Then it was democracy or was it Sadam is a bad guy?
The liberate after we had killed 100k or so civilians.
securing oil supplies was even mentioned and then quickly rescinded..

So only 1% understands the truth? Well I am proud to be a 1 percenter.

There were many legitimate reasons. Heck, I would have nuked him for trying to kill my old man. But the issue here is, that Bush 43 liberated Iraq. That is undeniable to any sane person.

Exactly what a not so sane person would say to defent their position.

first it was WMD and yellowcake.

Yeah WMD, Dems ranted about Saddam WMD for the last 4 years of Clinton and well into 2003....want me to post those infamous Dem quotes again?

And heavily implied participation in 911.

implied only by the msm and Dems...mentioning Saddam and 911 in the same speech hardly implies a connection, at least not to me

Then it was democracy or was it Sadam is a bad guy?

Both for sure...Saddam was a evil madman(Dem quotes confirm that)
and Iraq can choose democracy if it desires

100k or so civilians? Just because you make shit up doesn't make it true

securing oil supplies was even mentioned and then quickly rescinded..

Oh I don't know about that...the oil fields were secured, even a koolade guzzler like you must realize that

So only 1% understands the truth? Well I am proud to be a 1 percenter.
Proud? more like 'stubborn' as a jackass (mule)

I'd LOVE it if you did, because not one of them calls for recklessly invading Iraq.

Bush lied, kids died.

How can someone defend telling lies in order to send our sons and daughters to die?

How can someone defend the actions involved in starting the invasion of Iraq?

How can someone defend the way this war was handled?

Its funny, you people talk about liberating Iraq like it was something that was needed.

There are plenty of nations that are suffering under much worse dictators, and yet (oddly) no one calls to invade N. Korea, Sudan or Burma.
