Iraq mistake!

She also went on 5 different News networks and lied about Benghazi. She faced zero action too. Pathetic admin.

"There have been seven investigations (of Benghazi) led mostly by Republicans in the Congress" that concluded "nobody did anything wrong, but there were changes we could make."
Hillary Clinton on Monday, October 5th, 2015 in on NBC's Today Show

As much as we want to see Afghan stabilize..it's only held together with US air combat roles

yep, we could be there 100 years & it would be the same as it was the day we arrived..

Now back to the topic, praise of Jarod!!!......lol

It seems to me that the average Trumptard probably supported Bush over McCain in 2000, and opposed McCain and Romney the last two times around. Now they support the man who is denouncing Bush's administration. Thanks, guys...

This is one of the reasons I love politics, if I wait long enough almost everyone eventually agrees with me.

2003-2007 the most hotly debated issue in this board or its predecessor was the Iraq war. I was one of the very few against the war, and I was called all kinds of names for it, including unpatirotic. I was told I did not support the troops and did not love America.

Flash forward to today, at a forum on national security, with an audience made up entirely of Military Vet's, BOTH Republican and Democratic presidential canididates tried to one up each other about what a big mistake invading Iraq was. Clinton apoligizing for her mistake and Trump lying about his position.

I am almost always right, it just takes the rest of the world a few years to catch up sometimes.
Oh please Jarod. You ate my dust when it came to articulating opposition to the Iraq war. I was right wings punching bag for changing my party affiliation nor did you make the long term predictions on the consequences of Bush misleading the American people into Iraq that I did. Nor were you as aggressive as I was in counter attacking the war Hawks lack of understanding of US military policy and history and questioning their morals, values and patriotism for supporting what I clearly predicted would be a debacle.

I mean to be fair you were one of the few who did oppose Iraq but you didn't exactly lead the opposition and certainly wasn't the only person who was right. Given her many faults Desh was a far more vocal opponent than you were. So was US Citizen.

A lot of us were. It was not an easy thing to oppose that war.

And now, it's like this collective amnesia on the right. I mean, they're supporting a guy who calls invading Iraq a huge blunder whenever he can.

To hear some of the biggest cheerleaders, like Hannity & Giuliani, still try to lecture all of us about foreign policy & who will make us "safer" and all of that is truly offensive. Hannity should never be allowed to speak about foreign policy again.

I thought it was. Even if the WMD argument had not been a lie the rational for going to war, preemption, was so fundamentally flawed that it was easy to predict that it would be a grievous foreign policy blunder.

Had it been handled better after the surge you may have ended up being wrong.
