Yeh as If there is any kind of equivalence with China basically fucking over the whole world for decades to come and now trying to turn Iran into yet another BRI client state.
It would probably be a bit harder for China to turn Iran into a client state of we, I dunno, followed the nuclear deal and pursued detente, instead of breaking the treaty and resuming all the sanctions in the world except this time without any negotiations or terms, like nothing, our position is that we're just going to blockade them forever and that's their life now, maybe unconditional surrender could tempt Trump but I'm sure he'd get slapped down by Netanyahu.
Here's the thing of having a negotiating position of nothing, Iran has nothing to lose, anyone that offers it anything is offering a pretty good deal. What the hell is America going to do, increase sanctions, it's beating a dead horse, you're doing all the sanctions, you will not be satisfied until the last Iranian breathes their final breathe. China comes over and is like, nah, we don't need to genocide your entire country. This makes them the bad guys of course.
Again, it's not China's fault that unlike South Korea and itself the west proved utterly incapable of containment. It's not China's fault that you wasted like an entire month gloating over the deaths in Wuhan, being racist to Chinese people, and generally focusing entirely on what opportunities this would provide to contain the uppity yellow nation that was intent on committing the crime of developing without white peoples consent. You could've shored up your stockpiles of ppe, or maybe not waited until April to change your advice on face masks to something other than "Lmao those stupid Asians wearing masks like it's actually going to help out, what dweebs". If Trump would've shut down all travel around when or soon after he banned China, that would've practically been a master stroke. If he would've just banned travel to Europe that would've been great. But instead we waited until March. Hmmmmm. Parts of the west tried to fight a pandemic with racism, others virtue signaled about how they aren't going to do the racism.
And you both got fucked, why did you spend two months fighting about how racist to be to the Chinese, literally anything else wouldn't been a better use of your time. Trump banned China because he was hankering to trigger the libs by being a dick to China, and then he immediately lost all the interest in the subject. When outbreaks grew in Europe to sizes far surpassing the level of outbreak that existed in China at the time when Trump banned it, like no interest at all, the virus is fake news. Also at this point he could have put a lock down on New York City, that would've been great in addition to a European or world travel ban in February or even January. He did not do either of those things, you see, the stock market at that time was nearing 30k, so he was still denying the virus existed. If he had put a European travel ban in place or locked down NYC, he'd basically be admitting the China virus existed and that his genius China ban hasn't saved us all, and stocks probably would've dipped a great deal in February, depriving him of his stock really he needs for reelection.
If he'd done these things, also the United States would have largely been spared the virus. Now eventually he would wind up banning Europe, long after doing so cold have done any good. Hmmm maybe we should have introduced travel bans in an orderly rational fashion purely based on the best move to stop the spread, instead of, like clearly and obviously, largely using a pandemic containment measure as a tit for tat tool. Like ban China on a hair trigger, and then give white countries that you like a pass until long after they've spreas it to you. Can we stop pretending like this didn't happen? That we can't have just one thing applied based on reason and neutrally, instead of yet another stupid tit for tat scheme, like Trump tried to Art of the Deal the deal coronavirus, yet another opportunity to show how good he is to his friends and bad he is to his enemies. A pandemic doesn't care though. Can you please stop pretending this didn't happen? Can you stop pretending like Trumps China ban was unimfluenced by his hatred of China, that the much later ban on Europe didn't get delayed because they're one of the good boys, maybe stop ignoring that long period of time where he did genuinely pretend it wasn't happening like clearly because his eyes were locked to his precious stock counter? Can you stop acting like any of this was reasonable or well thought out behavior, that every single decision he made during the entirety of the pandemic was disastrously filtered through his juvenile honor based value system, every single decision was made either too early or too late, because he's a fucking child, because he can't for a moment be fair to his enemies, he can't fail to give his friends preferential treatment, he bullshits and denies anything that he thinks harm his own personal short term interests, even at massive cost to the nation. And of course the minute the situation changes such that his interests are no longer at stake but an enemy can be harmed, he immediately flips like a switch, transparently obvious, even if it's too late at that point and no longer useful, because he did another stupid han , had to win yet again.
And moreover, all of this is happening right before our eyes , you see it as clearly as I do, and you don't care. Your failed ideology is more important. So yeah, let's just go back to China bashing, that's how this all started anyway, may as well come back to where we left off.
You hate China, but Xi Jinping in his coronavirus response displayed exactly 0 of the qualities I described above. He immediately took the drastic necessary actions necessary for the good of his nation. Pretty sure like exactly nothing was just done just to be a dick to America, he was too concerned with his own country for that. I'm sure Chinese stocks fell pretty hard when he shut Wuhan down. It sure as hell looks like a pretty good decision now. He's capable of seeing further than his nose, he knows the stocks go up and down, and he'd never sacrifice 100k Chinese while watching the fucking stick ticker.
President Moon, again, he got down to work immediately and focused on saving his country. It was not an opportunity to show e political or national vendetta. He's not a fucking fair ass snake psychopath like that he's capable of just fighting the problem for a second, he doesn't get bogged down on stupid vendettas like backwards and parts of American culture , that need to grow the fuck up already.
