Iran's Economy Has Collapsed

I once came across a Canadian on another forum. He called himself some kind of scholar or columnist who studies East Asia. He said something that really stuck with me. He said, 'I really hate CCP, so I hope the Chinese economy collapses as soon as possible.' And that forum had a very left-leaning tilt. They acted like they believed in some kind of nice-sounding values. But your country has to do exactly what they say — otherwise, they'll pray that your economy falls apart soon, so that when life becomes unbearable for people, they can turn against the government.

I once had quite a few conversations with people on a British football forum. My experience is that even if you just tell them, 'We're just living a very ordinary life, nothing particularly special' — even just that — British people generally cannot accept it. In their minds, you have to be living the kind of life described in that novel *1984*. But come on, *1984* is a novel. Why do hundreds of millions of Chinese people have to live the way some bizarre novel says? Those British people don't care about any of that at all. People have a strong tendency to deny reality. And then they go a step further: 'Since everyone in your country is living such a miserable life, hoping for your economy to collapse is actually for your own good.'

Any government that tries to protect its own national interests — no matter which country it is — will be described by Americans and Brits as a dictatorship. But the good news is, more and more people have seen through this trick by now.

The age of colonies has to be over.

America has no choice but to adjust....or to roast the planet with nuclear weapons.....which is it going to be?

FAFO....they (the Regime ) are on the verge of being butchered by their own citizens....

Iran's economy is in a severe, rapidly accelerating collapse as of April 2026, driven by a strict US naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz, crippling sanctions, and infrastructure damage from recent war. Inflation is officially around 68%, the rial is in freefall, and food prices are soaring, leading to a humanitarian crisis and immense daily pressure on households.

Key Aspects of the Collapse:
  • Blockade and Energy Crisis: The US-led blockade has paralyzed Iranian oil exports, costing approximately $435 million a day in economic damage. This has cut off Iran’s primary source of revenue and severely limited foreign exchange reserves.
  • Currency and Inflation: The Rial has devalued drastically, with the dollar trading at roughly 155,000 tomans. This has led to triple-digit food inflation and a massive 90% drop in purchasing power, as discussed in (source: National Council of Resistance of Iran - NCRI).
  • Infrastructure Destruction: Attacks on critical facilities, including petrochemical plants in Asaluyeh and Mahshahr, have halted around 85% of petrochemical exports. Total economic damage could reach up to 40% of GDP, say Fox News and CNBC based on expert analysis, as reported by the FDD and CNBC.
  • Social Impact: A severe humanitarian crisis is brewing, with shortages of basic goods, rising costs for essential services, and a decline in living standards, notes NCRI and Iran International.
  • Long-term Outlook: Analysts suggest this is the deepest crisis in modern Iranian history, with potential long-term oil revenue losses of $14 billion annually. The government is using the conflict to justify the economic downturn, but faces potential collapse from continued pressure.
yeah.

probably just the citizens will suffer, you ignorant neocon glory hole patron.

He cant,...Biden already did when he was President for four years and had access to everything. Oh wait,....no,...he actually didn't. Joe Biden and the Democrats with all the great love they had for Donald Trump and with the election coming up all thought they would do Trump a favor and NOT release them. I mean,...we all KNOW how much Biden and the Democrats just LOVED Trump.....right?

Joe Biden and the Democrats all thought it was just peachy keen to put things out there about Trump being a Russian Agent, that he was pissed on by Russian Ho'es, that he was literally Adolph Hitler, that he was going to put Black people back into slavery,..... on and on and on. But for some odd reason they just decided that the OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE  they had about Trump being a Pedo just didn't deserve to be put out against him IN AN ELECTION CYCLE.:rolleyes::rolleyes::unsure: I tell ya,....you Democrats sure can sling some of the most absurd bullshit tales when you want to.
I am not a Democrat. I am a registered Independent, now called unaffiliated.

TRUMP OUGHT TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES...NO MATTER WHETHER FORMER PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN DID OR DID NOT.

But I am sure Trump is happy there are people like you who back him up no matter what.

Meanwhile, Iran's regime is on the verge of violent overthrow....
As of April 2026, the Iranian regime is facing an unprecedented, multi-front crisis that observers describe as one of its most challenging periods since the 1979 revolution. The regime is battling economic collapse, widespread domestic unrest, and the aftermath of significant military, nuclear, and diplomatic setbacks.

Key Aspects of the Crisis (As of April 2026):
  • Deepened Economic Crisis: The Iranian rial has hit record lows, with annual inflation rates soaring and food price inflation exceeding 70% in 2025. The economic situation is exacerbated by continued international sanctions and the disruption of key "shadow fleet" oil shipments.
  • Widespread Domestic Unrest: Protests, often beginning with economic grievances, have spread across all 31 provinces, with demonstrators increasingly calling for the downfall of the regime. The regime has responded with intense repression, including a high number of executions in 2025–2026.
  • Military and Strategic Setbacks: Following strikes by the U.S. and Israel in 2025, Iran’s nuclear program, ballistic missile infrastructure, and regional proxies (such as Hezbollah) have been significantly weakened.
  • Internal Regime Struggles: There are reports of a power struggle between hardliners and other factions, particularly within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as they deal with the pressures of the ongoing crisis.
  • Diplomatic Isolation: The reimposition of UN sanctions in 2025 and the breakdown of nuclear talks have left the regime more isolated, even as it tries to foster ties w
Frankly, there are many who suggest that the people of Iran are more united than before the Moron-in-Chief decided to save freedom for the Iranian people.
