1. The US must fundamentally commit to guaranteeing non-aggression.
2. Continuation of Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz.
3. Acceptance that Iran can enrich uranium for its nuclear program
4. Removal of all primary sanctions on Iran.
5. Removal of all secondary sanctions against foreign entities that do business with Iranian institutions).
6. End of all United Security Council resolutions targeting Iran.
7. End of all International Atomic Energy Agency resolutions on Iran’s nuclear program.
8. Compensation payment to Iran for war damage.
9. Withdrawal of US combat forces from the region.
10. Cease-fire on all fronts, including Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Its worse than I thought. In addition to removal of all sanctions and ability to charge passage thru Hormuz Iran also gets reparations for war damages, removal of all US bases, and a nuclear program for Iran.

Its hard to see this as anything but an utter humiliation of the US. At least in Vietnam or Afghanistan we were able to fight for years. It took Trump one month to sign a surrender agreement more shameful than Versailles.

Edit: At this point the GOP may as well pack it up. A successful outcome of this war was the one shot they had at the midterms. Abject surrender means that the GOP loses midterms and the next presidency and you will probably see Tucker Carlson someone who is ready to give up Asia to China as the GOP frontrunner in the future. MAGA will be totally discredited.

Sadly, having a nuke keeps other nations away. Some countries that should not have them will build them, like North Korea. With Trump in office, we should not have them either.

I don't think the U.S. is really ready to go after Iran. And by ready, I mean mentally and in terms of propaganda. Americans just aren't prepared, psychologically, to get into a serious war with Iran. At the same time, I also see a lot of pushback against Tucker Carlson's views on East Asia. Maybe the most suitable war opponent for the U.S. right now is China. Americans seem generally prepared for that—people can handle a war with China and are willing to pay the price.

Iran must have gone insane or is just grasping at straws. None of that will happen. So, I guess Iran is in for a major ass kicking.

Also, I think someone like Tucker Carlson deserves respect—he really does think about America's national interests. It's just too bad not many people are willing to agree with him.

Why? Iran's missile and drone attacks have tapered off to next to nothing. They've been that way for a couple of weeks now. Iran has nothing going in its favor. Ships are now slipping past their blockade too and my bet is that will increase in the next week or two substantially.

What cards does Iran hold here exactly?
Continuing nuclear program.

Lets say we didnt do iran and somehow wound up in a war with China probably over Taiwan. What do you think Iran would do?

They would enter on the side of China just like Hezbollah and the other groups dependent on Iran entered the war on Irans side.

The question is whether we face China and Iran together or seperately

Why does the US have to be at war with the entire planet?

The gulf, missiles and drones. Those are good cards,
