And the West controlled it for a very long time, generally strangling it and robbing the Africans.
They noticed, and they have figured out that the Chinese have a better idea, despite Western claims that the Chinese are racist exploiters (no....actually that is the Demonic Empire).
China is showing the Global South what fair trade conscious capitalism looks like, as US corporate socialism still needs bailouts after they hollowed-out our entire economy.
The Chinese story is that cooperation and building is a better idea than wars in the service of the bankers and exploitation.
China, Russia, Venezuela and Iran are actually improving life for the people. No israel first maga wants to know this simple fact.
Venezuela has long been strangled by the Empire.....and to some extent Iran as well though their response of getting educated and outsmarting the racist english speaking West has worked.....but generally yes......the rise of Russia and China has been spectacular.
XI talks about this all the time, that the leaders and the wealth holders can never forget that they work for the people, they must work towards making society better. Along the same lines XI has given several recent lectures that homes are for living in, not accumulating wealth.

A few days ago the US bragged that the west can endure more pain than China, Russia and Iran. That statement alone makes it clear where this is headed.

Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei issued a message on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army and the birthday anniversary of the martyred Leader on Saturday.
He congratulated everyone in the Army, their esteemed families, and the great nation of Iran on this occasion.
The Islamic Army is now courageously defending the land, water, and flag that belong to it, just as it did in the previous two imposed wars, Ayatollah Khamenei said, adding, “With its strong support from God and the people, in compact, solid ranks, and standing side by side with their comrades from the other armed forces, it’s battling the two leading armies of disbelief and Arrogance. And the Islamic Army has exposed those armies’ weakness and humiliation to the world.”

In fact, from our perspective—meaning from the Chinese perspective—Iran does not have any advanced Chinese weapons. The last time China sold weapons to Iran was about 15 or 20 years ago. Everyone knows this. I am a bit surprised that so many Americans do not believe this.
