My rule is to never make the first offer. Apparently Trump did that with Iran this week.

In an attempt to end the war, Trump offered a deal. Iran laughed at him. They said he was trying to negotiate, but they aren’t interested.

The Empire is wanting something they can sell as a success to get a pause to regroup to go after Iran again at a later date....militarily.....the economic war against Iran/Russia/China the Empire has no intention of pausing.

Exactly as the Empire is trying to do in their disaster in Ukraine.

Do you believe The PP is more truthful to the public than Iran's leadership?

you are correct that 'believing Iran' is not a sound thing to do.

Sad thing is that despite that being true, Trump is actually the less believable of the two and anyone who does not recognize could not get more retarded, but i am sure they would try.

The 'myth' of Trump as the good business negotiator has been destroyed in his two terms as POTUS.

The only way he knows how to negotiate is to usually sign deals he has no intention to follow thru with and then break them and threaten lawsuits if he thinks he can bully the other party or make it not worth the fight.

He has brought that same 'bad strategy' to government and just assumes because he has the biggest stick that 'fairness' and 'compromise' and a 'win/win' do not have to be a part of any deals he cuts now. He has come out and said that 'he does not believe in win/win'.

I will make the first offer, if it is nonnegotiable. Once trump admitted everything is negotiable, it stopped being no nuclear weapons, and no control over The Strait of Hormuz. Those became negotiable.

The Art of the Deal was another book he never read.

Its not all Trumps fault....America gave up on diplomacy starting with the Clinton years....it was decided that America won, America is in charge, America issues orders and everyone else complies...Or Else.

My old guys talk constantly about how there are no diplomats, left.

They also say that most of the experts are gone...replaced with ideologs.

He did an interview with the Financial Times where he claimed Khrag Island is not defended, I don’t know who’s telling him this or if he’s lying about it, but he’s in for a very big surprise. He also admitted he wants control of Iran’s oil.

Ok, so you are talking about Khrag Island
not Kharg Island, now that makes sense.

I truly dont understand why there needs to be a ceasefire to discuss a ceasefire. Negotations can go on even while the fighting continues. Older generations managed to do it much less our generation which has the magic of zoom.

Ceasefires should only happen once both sides agree to terms to stop.

Because we can trust what the Iranians say.

I'm sure the terrorist regime enjoys the daily cocksucking you so greedily provide them.

The fact is that nobody without access to real-time classified intel can reliably assess the status of Kharg Islands' defenses (or lack thereof).

The opinions and guesses or journalists (who may have an axe to grind) and/or "analysts" are guess or opinions. Nothing more.

The POTUS certainly may know something that you don't, imbecile.

He also admitted he wants control of Iran’s oil.

Isn't that the point of the blockade?

Denying Iran access to hard foreign currency is a tool to bring them to the negotiating table.

You don't think very much, do you?

When a personal brain makes a choice to mind a social consensus, is not the body of the individual talking to itself before having a conversation with other people living in series parallel time?

Simple yes or no answer. Anything more is just a diversion from a mind working psychological class warfare.
