Of course. Again, they are in it for the long game. They can't take on "the Great Satan" all at once. They'll do it piece by piece just like they've been doing for years....yes, even during Trump's first term when he did nothing to them. He even helped them by killing the nuclear deal.

Yes they said those things. They have to make the people satisfied that they responded. You have no understanding of how things work. When Trump did his Pearl Harbor sneak attack, Iran was obligated by their people to make a military response. This is how a government stays in power.
