Everybody gets all bent when I "come to the defense" of another poster. I hear how, "I'm protecting the lefties" or "You're protecting the rightwingers"...

I'm trying to keep some level of civility and we saw how the descriptions of sexual encounters with another poster's child worked so well before. About every six months or so people get into a mood, and stuff like this makes its way onto the board... thankfully the cycle is likely to end soon and we'll be back to normal.

If he calls you gay and you get upset use something different than children in your attack and don't get too descriptive. That's all I ask.

It's a cycle. It seems about every 6 to 9 months we go through a few weeks of this then it gets back to normal. I guess it builds up and people get more "troll" in them than normal, they get it out and we're all back to snuff.

It causes a bit of work for me and the Staff, but we're good for it... For the record, I have seen (and deleted) much worse.
