Interracial couple denied marriage license in La.

Like hell. The JOP has an obligation to uphold the rule of law not enforce his own racist beliefs on others. Since he violated the law he should be removed from his position and should face both civil and criminal prosecution for violating these peoples civil rights.
You seem to like it when the Justice makes decisions that you agree with yet now you want to remove that privilege.

That's BS. There's lots of mixed race couples in NC and I've never heard that this is a problem. The pastor must have been concerned that you would pollute her superior DNA if you had kids. :)
did you ask them? It was a serious problem. We had a 90 day clock ticking to get married and I spent two months trying to find a church or preacher/priest to marry us. Not even the local catholic priest would do it. He was an honest old biggot. Flat out told me he didn't believe in mixed marriages. That really freaked out my wife who is a practicing catholic.

WTF? That's a completely irrelevent point. Since when do JOP's have the right to break the law? Aren't they obligated to not only obey the law but to enforce the law as well? Since when does a JOP have the right to choose which laws they will obey and/or enforce and which ones they will not?

To be consistent with your judgment of Limbaugh yesterday, you are now racist for making a parody of Nagin's off-color comment. :pke:
Again, race-baiting does not necessarily make somebody racist. If it was all the same thing there wouldn't be different words for it. However, Nagin may be racist, it is always a possibility.

You obviously hit an anomaly with the Catholic priest, since we're the most ethnically diverse religion in the world. Why did you only have 90 days- were they going to ship you back to some alien planet?

The Catholic church takes marriage and faith very seriously and your time frame may have been the real issue. When my lovely wife and I got married it was a several month process and as I recall we opted for the fast track, requiring a weekend counseling retreat.

So decide then either you and Limbaugh are racists or not.

Damo did not make fun of it. Even if he did, most would give him the benefit of the doubt unless there were hundreds of other like comments to go along with it.

Lots of things are up to the discretion of officers of the courts and laws.

that really sucks, but tell us, is your wife still a practicing catholic because of that?

He cited a parody, just like Rush did. And, like Rush, he's voiced his opinion and has offended many. I'm not saying he's racist, In fact I would attest that he's not, but in order to be consistent, you must. :)

I definitely believe that the woman should flush her life long faiths down the toilet because of something that one person said.

roll your eyes all you like. that one priest is a representative of the church, is he not? the other catholic priests that molested little boys were also representatives of the catholic church, were they not? and didn't those priests get their asses covered BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH??????

Me? I never posted the picture, moron. Explaining why somebody would race-bait isn't the same thing as creating the picture and doing it yourself.
LOL Oops- it was Yurt. :FootMouth:

But still, that would make Yurt a racist and since you defended him posting it that makes you a racist. At least according to your statements and the statements of race baiters here. :)

No, it would mean that he was race-baiting, and IMO it is wrong to do so, but one does not necessarily mean the other. I know you are smart enough to see the difference.
