International Isolation as a weapon. Lessons from China, Russia, etc

History has taught us that one of the biggest tools to deal with global international threats is to diminish their global ties with other countries and isolate them.

From the former USSR, to East Germany, China, Russia, N,Korea, etc such isolation diminishes them as a threat or puts them into decline and eventually change.

Cooperation = strength and prosperity and history has proven that beyond any doubt.

Now we see the US, under Trump, deliberately going into an isolationist phase while driving others into more cooperative relationships.

It is why Trump "loves the poorly educated" because as Rome burns he knows they will clap like seals while saying all this is a good thing.

Trump's stupid tariff policies are driving nations that are disgusted by his stupidity to get together and make deals. They will trade with each other and not us. Trump is so smart.

While no one is happy with Trumps tariffs scattershot TACO policy that is not the biggest issue.

If Trump had used his compliant House and Senate and passed all the tariffs, the way the Constitution requires other nations would have some semblance of certainty. Trump actually could get this done and it would make it very hard for future Admins to undue as few get this level of control over both Houses any more.

Both 'Markets' and 'Countries' like certainty and when they do not get it they will hold off on making big commitments. No one wants to reorder anything structural in their countries with America when everything may be undone by Executive order by the next POTUS, whether Dem or Magat, or GOP.

^ Speaking to the above, it is the same for corporations who were in the midst of expanding and building new facilities and also all those lying to Trump now telling him they will build new facilities in America due to his tariffs.

None of them will start what would be a 5+ year build of a new facility now, when in 3 years a new POTUS may undue it all. They will lie, make a commitment to Trump and just wait to see what happens.

So America has the worst case scenario as new plants that were slated to start this year are all mostly being put on hold and the promises of future plants are fake. This at a time as companies are laying off NOW due to tariff impacts already.

Trump stupidity has put America into the worst case scenario with uncertainty. A complete stall.

Only Trump could turn China's Xi into the good guy all this, arguing RIGHTLY against Trump's bullying tactics while also calling for more cooperation with other countries as 'China will be a stable partner, unlike the US'.
